National Education Group (NEG) has appointed Katie Williams as Chief People Officer. Katie will lead people strategy across the group, with a focus on talent, culture, and building the organisational capability to support NEG's next phase of growth.
Katie joins having held senior people leadership roles at Focus Group, an Hg Capital-backed technology business, and APEXX Global, a VC-backed European fintech. She brings over ten years of experience building people functions inside high-growth VC and PE-backed technology businesses.
Katie Williams said: "The businesses I have worked in have all been at inflection points, where getting the people strategy right is the difference between scaling well and scaling badly. NEG is at exactly that moment, and the work happening here around AI-enabled workforce transformation makes it one of the more interesting people challenges in the sector right now."
Neil Gamewell, CEO and Founder of NEG, said: "Katie has built people functions that have held up under real growth pressure. That is what we need. We are growing fast and we want to do it in a way that keeps the team and the culture strong."
