Key facts

National Education Group (NEG) has appointed Richard Mansfield as Chief Technology Officer. Richard will lead engineering and platform development across NEG, overseeing the technical architecture that underpins the group's growing portfolio.

Richard joins from MediaKind Global, where he served as Product Director, and prior to that was CTO for Media Delivery at Ericsson, one of the world's largest telecommunications businesses. He brings nearly 20 years of product and technology leadership across global software organisations.

Richard Mansfield said: "The platform NEG has built is already reaching a significant number of schools. The opportunity to take that infrastructure to the next level, and to do it at a moment when education technology is genuinely changing what is possible for teachers and leaders, is exactly the kind of challenge I want to be working on."

Neil Gamewell, CEO and Founder of NEG, said: "Richard has operated at the highest level of global technology leadership. Bringing that experience to NEG as we scale our platform is a real statement of intent for the business."
