Since our inception in 2017, our awards cabinet has been steadily filling up. With 17 major wins and over 40 finalist nominations, we’ve had plenty of opportunities to dress to impress and join the ranks of the education industry’s finest. We’re delighted to report that, in 2024, the celebrations have continued!
In the past few months alone, our market-leading CPD has been commended by three prestigious awards bodies, highlighting our exceptional services to schools in the areas of curriculum development, CPD, compliance, and health & safety.
Highly Commended – Teach Primary Awards 2024: CPD
In November, we were awarded Highly Commended at the Teach Primary Awards 2024 in the Primary CPD category. The Teach Awards celebrate the very best in educational resources, providing “a detailed picture of what supports teachers and schools in delivering the highest standards in education”.
A dizzying range of educational topics
Judges were impressed with the range of resources on offer: “There really is something for everyone on The National College, which has videos, podcasts, webinars, templates and a whole range of other resources on a dizzying range of educational topics. I found the instructors and facilitators to be really knowledgeable and the materials are very well produced, with engaging visuals, thoughtfully structured.”
Highly Commended – BESA Awards 2024: Outstanding Support Service
We also gained Highly Commended in the category of Outstanding Support Service at the BESA Awards which took place at the Oval Cricket Ground in July.
The BESA Awards are described as “a celebration of leadership and innovation, showcasing the unrivalled excellence exhibited by BESA members in the educational suppliers’ sector”, and entrants face intense competition from across the industry.
Addressing very important elements of compliance
BESA remarked: “NEG provides a wide range of CPD to address essential areas of school and MAT including compliance, curriculum, governance and mental health support. This approach provides support for small schools and large MATs enabling them to draw upon experts who otherwise may not be available to them locally.
“NEG allows management to have good oversight of participation of staff at all levels and across schools, including the setting and monitoring of training tasks and policies – very important elements of compliance.”
Commended – RoSPA Qualification Awards 2024: First Class E-Learning Large Provider of the Year
We also scooped a debuting award at the 2024 RoSPA Qualification Awards, held in July at the iconic London landmark, HMS Belfast.
Here we achieved Commended as a finalist in the category of First Class E-Learning Large Provider of the Year for our high-quality training courses, which cover essential areas such as health & safety at work, fire safety, asthma, epilepsy and diabetes awareness.
Industry pioneer
Julia Small, RoSPA’s Achievements Director, said: “As leaders in health and safety, we know how crucial it is for businesses to offer a high standard of training, whether in-house or through third-party providers. Quality training benefits everyone, and securing a Course Assurance Award marks a company as an industry pioneer.”
Continuing a track record of excellence
We’re committed to ensuring that, in 2025 and beyond, we remain a trusted and invaluable resource for schools in a complex and uncertain world. A cabinet full of awards is one strong indicator that, so far, we’re getting it right!
